I went and frolicked around Stanley Park recently with Stephanie. We packed up all the flower crowns I have been making, my vintage gowns and some Palm Bays and decided to be adventurous.
I often work with the same people in my shoots because I develop friends with them and they are normally just there to have fun and be creative. After all thats what art is all about. People often will look at us like we are a little crazy, but thats half the fun isnt it?
Behind the Scenes
My kitty is the love of my life and my best friend. Sounds a little silly. Hes getting pretty old and Im a little sad about it. I never want to lose my best friend. So recently I have taken opportunities to capture images of him for keep sakes. If you're a pet owner, you probably know how I feel. So here are some cute images I have shot recently.
Im always super excited and flattered when lovely ladies from out of town pm me to colab together <3 This lovely lady is from Cali. We had a lot of fun doing a pretty boudoir. We managed to squeeze each other in with our busy schedules and I love our images. Just working on them as we speak to so I will have more to share
Recently Ive been up to a few new tricks with my popular bath style. I am seeing some fun new images, angles, lighting techniques etc. I work with a crop frame so there is a lot of added frustration there. but I feel one day when I can afford a full frame ill have a lot of experience with such a low grade camera that maybe ill have it mastered. I'm lucky to have friends humor me. Saturday was all flowers, palm bays and wrinkly bath fingers. Big thank you to Pamm F for modeling for me. Please note the photo of her covered in flowers after we were done the shots and she had to get out to change, hehe. Im really happy with how they turned out.
We attempted to some smoke bombs the other week. we kind of failed for our first attempt but it defiantly was an experience. It turns out I'm terrified of lighting nature on fire or upsetting anyone enjoying the forest. I'm kind of anxious that way. Luckily we had an assistant and a body of water very close just in case. Here's what we ended up with. I feel we will be far more prepared the next time.
I have been super busy as usual but I figured id add a few sessions today being Sunday funday and all. I take Sundays to catch up on my edits and social media...as well as Netflicks and kitty snuggles hehe. Heres a few collaborations I have been up to, now that it has been nice out.
Model/Muah: Dane Halo.
Behind The Scenes
I haven't really done much postings but tonight I took some time to update my site. I haven't been doing many shoots recently due to an injury, however I am on the mend and getting back into my work. I recently had the lovely privilege of working with this beautiful little lady. Shes is a very talent MUAH in the Commercial Drive (Vancouver BC) area if you need someone to help with your makeup. But she also is a blast to shoot with. Very strong poses and gets right into character right away with little direction. Highly recommend other photographers to work with her.
I always have fun shooting this little lady. Lace and tattoos seem to go together really well in the bedroom <3 I was going for a softer look for this shoot and i am pretty pleased with the end result. Ive been doing boudoir for so long, I'M often trying to new lighting and poses so I'm lucky I have people who will donate their time to letting me try new looks on them. This shoot was done a few weeks ago.
All sessions will now be posted here going forward. Please stop by to check them out :)
