I met and shot with this lovely human. They did such an amazing job. I styled the wardrobe. I wanted to share the outcome. I simply adore Mountain view cemetery in the fall here in Vancouver BC Canada. Victorian shoots are by far my most favorite.
I am all about old vintage witchy style right now. So I was obsessed with this shoot. I love the haunted old farm feel to it. Miss Keely did a great job as always. Such a pleasure to work with. Saturday was rainy and stormy, but we braved through a 7 hour wrap up and made ever minute count. I worked with an entire new team and boy was it ever amazing. Skye is a joy to work with. She has the most beautiful designs I had the pleasure of shooting. Robyn was all smiles and giggles the entire time shooting (even in the stormy cold rain). Wonder model and person. I also had the wonderful pleasure of working with a new and upcoming Muah, Tiana, who made every moment count. 5 different makeup looks. Super impressive. Working at a novice level.
Skye spoiled us by bring sandwiches, tea, water, fruit and goodies. I simple adore editorial collaborations. Especially when every person is super positive, energetic, excited and all pull together with suggestions and options. What a great experience. Skye was there the entire time dressing, adjusting and taking care of everyone. The shoot didn't even seem that long. We are saving these for publications so I can only share our bts, but I hope you enjoy them as much as I do Links to all who was involved: https://www.instagram.com/tiffanyireland/ https://www.instagram.com/fashionbyskye/ https://www.instagram.com/robyn_russia/ https://www.instagram.com/tianamakeupartistry/ www.facebook.com/FashionbySkye www.facebook.com/Tiffanyirelandphotography1 www.facebook.com/robyn.chrosciewicz www.facebook.com/tianamakeupartistry First Look: Im learning to shoot with two models at a time right now. It only took me 7 years to be open to it lol. Ive always been a more one on one. But I'm having fun trying to pair up models and put a vision in place. Posing and directing two different people takes far longer than I thought but the end result and bond we all form together is really fun! I see my Saturdays being spent more this way. Second Look:
I went and frolicked around Stanley Park recently with Stephanie. We packed up all the flower crowns I have been making, my vintage gowns and some Palm Bays and decided to be adventurous. I often work with the same people in my shoots because I develop friends with them and they are normally just there to have fun and be creative. After all thats what art is all about. People often will look at us like we are a little crazy, but thats half the fun isnt it? Final Cut Behind the Scenes
I was recently published in Dark Beauty Magazine. Super exciting for me. Here's the tear sheets. Its a honor. The magazine is focused on body positive which I'm a huge fan and supporter of.
My kitty is the love of my life and my best friend. Sounds a little silly. Hes getting pretty old and Im a little sad about it. I never want to lose my best friend. So recently I have taken opportunities to capture images of him for keep sakes. If you're a pet owner, you probably know how I feel. So here are some cute images I have shot recently. Pinup Kitty Kitty Boudoir
I did a shoot a little while ago with a friend just for fun. I wanted something pretty and light for a change. I have much more to share from this session but I work early :) I shall post more later but thought id share. Thanks again Nikki <3 I had the lovely opportunity to work with the beautiful Ruby Roxx again. We journeyed off the yellow brick road and found a lovely garden to do some of the shots in. after we enjoyed a nice little lunch smelling like we just got off a fishing boat. We then hoped in the ocean and put our skills to the test. I in water up to my chest and her with tentacles in her mouth braved the power of nature. This is what we came up with. Another day worth the trek I would say :)
